Celaya Brothers Gallery

Agostino Iacurci
Celaya Brothers Gallery has the pleasure to present the first solo show by Italian artist Agostino Iacurci (Foggia, Italia, 1986) in Mexico. Th exhibition is comprised by works made during his residency at CBG, covering mainly painting and sculpture. In his work of synthetic forms and bright colors, through essential language, Agostino Iacurci is capable of handling various layers of interpretation. His focus positions his stories in the eternal threshold between innocence and artifice, serenity and catastrophe, in a magnetic tension that is the interpretative key to our own existence.

Celaya Brothers Gallery (CBG) is a unique space that challenges the creative limits of the artists who participate in it. A contemporary art gallery with a purposeful offer, that invites international artists to develop unique concepts and challenge the parameters of their time. CBG is based on the participation of the Celaya brothers in the artists’ process for each of the works that make up the spaces of the gallery, including their total support for creative freedom. In this way, CBG becomes part of the professional development of the artist, directing him to experiment, risk and explore innovative forms of expression, always keeping with the plastic quality and aesthetic discourse of each style.
